Back to the Basics expedition
We lead increasingly urbanized lives and may gradually lose a comfortable connection with our wild surroundings. We at NTC feel that is not a good thing, as wilderness is for us a great source of inspiration and discovery. This journey lets you explore true wilderness by spending time in two completely different locations. Once there we blend a sense of adventure, an introduction to wildlife and environment with ways to familiarize yourself with your newsurroundings.
Our twin destinations are the boreal wilderness of northern Ontario and the rainforest at the edge of Vancouver Island. We'll spend 8 days in each location, far from civilization. This expedition will introduce you to the principles of wilderness of each region. This is not a survival course but a great trip filled with discovery, wildlife observations and a gentle introduction to essential wilderness techniques.
