2009

2008
saw us rafting the Alsek River in the Yukon, BC and Alaska as well as canoeing down the subarctic Thelon River in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories
2007
Labrador Photo Expedition
We served the beauty of the Labrador coast and of the rugged Torngats on a silver platter to an elated group of shutterbugs.
2006 Hudson Bay Expedition
We plotted an old native trading route along the rarely visited shores of the Bay. A feast of migrating birds and beluga whales, with the odd polar bear.
2005 Baffin Island Trek, Nunavut
We explored the arctic wilderness of Baffin's east coast and Auyuittuq National Park.
2004 Birding and Nature Tour
We went on a massive bird and wildlife count in BC and Alberta.
2003 Brooks Peninsula Expedition
We paddled and trekked around Vancouver Island's inaccessible but spectacular northwest coast.
2002 Whales & bears expedition
That trip was such a hit that we now offer it every year.
2001 High Arctic Trekking
For our very first special expedition we went all the way up to Ellesmere Island and hiked at the northernmost tip of Canada.

Special Expeditions
Many of Nature Trek's faithful participants have come back to us seeking new thrills, looking for trips that appeal to their growing taste of adventure and wilderness. With their input, we started organizing some very special expeditions! We select areas that have a lot to offer, and that are not easy to get to. These always interesting and sometimes challenging trips are not part of our regular programming and are likely one-time only. But who knows?
Custom Guided Nature Expeditions
Every year, more people ask us to design a custom tour that fits their idea of a wilderness expedition. We can arrange a maximum of two of those custom-made guided trips every year. We know a lot about Canada's wild places and will design a program that fits your specific interest, budget and group size. Maybe you and your family, a group of friends or colleagues have thought about taking a special guided trip in Canada. Now you can do it easily. Nature Trek Canada has already put together a wide variety of guided custom expeditions. Here are a few of them to give you some ideas…
