We are designing this trip for a family who wants to spend as little time as possible on the road. They also really want to learn about true wilderness without getting into ‘survival’ mode. A promising start!
This trip to Canada’s North was designed with grandiose scenery and meaningful contact with local people in mind. It includes colourful settlements, a guided hike in Kluane National Park, a fishing adventure off Sitka, a glacier hike in Juneau and a spectacular train ride from Skagway, Alaska.
Alaska is a big and, all things considered, fairly busy place in the summer, so we propose a start in June and have designed a road trip that will give ample opportunity to experience and enjoy dramatic landscapes and catch more than a glimpse of wildlife.
