Canoeing

No trip to Canada can be complete without getting a taste of the voyageurs’ trademark craft. We can arrange a canoe (and guide) for you anywhere in the country.

Paddle with us or on your own… here are some great places to get started.

Ontario

Algonquin Park was one of the first protected areas in Canada and is a perfect place to start canoeing. It is a beautiful park of mixed forests, countless lakes and streams. What makes Algonquin particularly attractive is its extensive network of actual canoe routes. Together with Algonquin Outfitters we can arrange overnight canoe trips to your taste. No experience is necessary and all equipment, including meals and a guide can be provided. 1-5 day all-inclusive tours start at $Can 250 pp

British Columbia

If you’d rather be exploring Western Canada, there are no less wonderful canoeing adventures to be had, like:

  • Wells Gray Provincial Park from $55 pp
  • Tweedsmuir provincial Park from $205 pp with float plane access.

More remote and likely self-guided canoe trips can easily be arranged elsewhere in British Columbia and further north in the Yukon. Contact us for additional information on other destinations.
