Iwan Lewylle
General Manager, Guide
Before moving to Vancouver Island in 2017 with his partner Ellen, Iwan Lewylle worked as a biologist in Belgium for more than 10 years. He is very familiar with Canada’s wilderness and after many trips around our globe, he now wants to work as a guide and interpreter. Iwan has a great interest in wild animals - birds, whales and amphibians, particularly in combination with photography. He wants people to enjoy and understand nature. Iwan works with Nature Trek Canada as a guide and organizer of (mostly) guided group travel in Canada and the United States.

The man behind NTC, Lo has designed and led 121 expeditions in northern Canada. He brings along a vast knowledge of wilderness, ecology and culture, as well as a wicked sense of humour to every trip he leads.

Founders
Lo has designed and led 121 expeditions in northern Canada. He brings along a vast knowledge of wilderness, ecology and culture, as well as a wicked sense of humour to every trip he leads.
Anne-Marie pulls the logistic strings of Nature Trek Canada's complex web from their Salt Spring Island base. She has also guided trips in Alaska, Yukon and British Columbia.

Lander Meeusen
Administrative Assistant
Lander is the newest addition to the NTC team. He has been working as a support staff member for all administrative tasks since 2025. Lander has extensive experience as a backpacker. He is originally from Flanders and has lived in Hamilton (Ontario) and Edmonton (Alberta). He currently resides with his two young children in Victoria (British Columbia).
Wilfried Deelen
Europe liaison
Wilfried is a tourism consultant and teacher with considerable outdoor experience. He is our man in Europe and, living in the Netherlads, is available without a 9 hour time difference! Wilfried is also involved in sustainable tourism projects in Africa.
Ruud van Lieshout
Logistics
Ruud works from the Netherlands to improve and refine our Individual Arrangements. When in Canada, Ruud guides custom kayak tours along the west coast as well as any expedition throughout Canada.
Didier Delahaye
Webmaster
Didier has seen his fair share of the West and the North and has been NTC's dedicated webmaster since day 1. An accomplished musician, photographer and media wizard, he calls the internet home (you can visit him at BrassensREDUX).
