The west coast of BC and Alaska offers excellent opportunities for bear watching. But timing is everything – when protein-rich grasses emerge in spring and salmon migrate upstream in late summer, bears congregate in their favourite spots. And that’s where you need to be! Prime locations in British Columbia are the fjord-like waters of Knight and Toba Inlets, both carving deep into the Coast Mountains. In Alaska, one of the best places to view bears is on the Kenai peninsula with 3 to 5 people, a guide and your own float-plane. A full day in a beautiful setting with excellent guiding!
From $Can 110 (Tofino) to $Can 340 (Knight Inlet & Toba inlet) and $US 650 (Homer).
